Dandadan Chapter 40 – Contract

Evil Eye recalls his younger self in an old, wooden prison. He recalls the Kito leader. Evil Eye looks mad and very scary.
Jiji starts transforming. Momo tries to remove the Evil Eye from riding on Jiji's back.
The Kuragari attacks Momo, Okarun, and Jiji. Jiji tells Momo to stop attacking the Evil Eye.
Jiji asks the Evil Eye about his location, which is below them. They run underground.
Momo enters the house underneath and notices its dated style. Jiji recalls the boy imprisoned, and he goes there.
Jiji arrives at an old wooden door with four X-marks. He takes out the locking bar and opens it.
Jiji enters the prison and sees a skeleton tied to a pole. Momo arrives, gasping for air.
Jiji approaches the skeleton and thanks him for protecting him.
Turbo Granny warns Jiji not to approach and sympathize with the Evil Eye Yokai. Jiji says he's different.
Outside, the huge Kuragari snake monster emits powerful lightning throughout his body.
Momo, Jiji, and Turbo Granny fall to the ground after being struck by lightning. Momo notices a sticky ground.
The Kuragari starts pouring its sticky substance below where Momo, Jiji, and Turbo Granny are.
Okarun is above the house, unable to move. Momo makes a plan to escape, but Jiji is kneeling and unresponsive.
Jiji imagines seeing the skinny boy on the floor inside the prison.
Jiji apologizes to the skinny boy for blaming him for everything. The boy says he wants to play.
Jiji sits near the boy, gets excited, and tells him he will play with him. The boy makes a creepy smile.
The boy's spirit comes out with long limbs and the same ugly, creepy face.
Jiji screams wildly while holding his head.
Jiji gets crazily mad and continues screaming. Momo and Turbo Granny receive another electric shock.
Momo, Turbo Granny, and Jiji are down as the Kuragari monster opens its mouth above them, ready to devour.
Momo tries to get up, but the ground is sticky. The Kuragari monster starts devouring them whole with its teeth near Momo.
Jiji suddenly tackles the Kuragari monster and saves Momo.
Momo watches as Jiji pins the Kuragari and prepares a powerful kick.
Jiji kicks the Kuragari away from the house. Momo watches Jiji, who now speaks differently.
Jiji is only wearing underwear and now has a third eye. He plans to defeat all humans.
Momo is wearing a jacket with a soda can and a monkey face printed on it.
